Message I would take the incremental route and try polyurethane bushings with new stock shocks...the major downside to that is the bushing install is easily 100x more of a PITA than a coilover install.

I am considering swapping out my SPL coilovers for the "Gordo suspension"....NA springs with TT shocks. I already have polyurethane bushings, solid tension rods, and adjustable upper control arms in front & rear, and on the track the coilovers are fantastic, but as mentioned already on crappy public roads they are too harsh. With as little as I track the car anymore, I am leaning towards this option so I can get some comfort level back (it isn't as if the stock suspension handles like a cadillac), regain the sport/touring feature, and retain a slight ride height drop. Seems like a really good option for TT's that aren't going to see much track/autoX time at all.

If I get back into it more frequently I can always swap the SPL's back in, hunt down a competent alignment guy (maybe easier said than done), and enjoy the track season.

photograph a crucifix in a jar of urine and our museums will vie to exhibit it; occupy someone else’s property and you will be hailed by the president for your keen social conscience.
But call people who blow up, behead, and mutilate, “savage” — and polite society will find you offensive."
